About Us

History: 
FG Inter College Sialkot Cantt was established in 1989 with the mission to provide quality education to the wards of security personnel as well as civilians. Although it was inaugurated as a boys’ college, it served both genders until 1992. Starting from 1992-93 session, it operated as a boys’ college. In 2017, it resumed its status as a co-educational An institution to accommodate the growing number of female students in the community.

Institution Profile:
FG Inter College Sialkot Cantt. offers higher secondary level education. As a part of the Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantts/Garrisons), the college operates under the Ministry of Defence and adheres to its policies. FG Inter College is the only government college in Sialkot which is affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad.

Its magnificent building contains admin offices, staff rooms, spacious and airy classrooms, well equipped science laboratories, and a library featuring a large collection of literature and science books. The building is surrounded by playgrounds for various sports.

Objective of the College:
The primary objective of the college is to provide quality education at a nominal fee and to foster a spirit of self-reliance, disciplined leadership, and national unity among students. Its professional faculty plays a vital role in grooming young learners and instilling in them a strong desire to become responsible, contributing citizens.
