Attendance:
Attendance is marked in each period. All students are required to attend at least 75% Lectures delivered in each subject to become eligible for admission to the FBISE Examination. Moreover, 80% attendance in practical/lab classes is required for each student.
Leave Rules:
Regular attendance is essential for academic success. Absence can hinder a student’s progress and academic performance. Therefore, unauthorized absences are discouraged. However, in cases of extreme necessity, students may be granted leave with prior permission. The following rules apply.
- Students must submit a leave application.
- Theapplication should be signed by parents/guardian.
- Class In-charge is authorized to approve less than three days leave after consulting appropriate teachers.
- Leaveof more than three days require approval from the Principal.
- Leave during home examinations must first be approved by the Controller of Examinations, followed by approval from the Principal, and will be granted only upon a personal request from the parents.
- Approved leave will exempt students from penalties; however, they will not be considered as days present when calculating the 75% attendance required for admission to the board examination.
- Habitual students will not be granted leave. Students are expected to catch up on any missed work and assignments upon their return from leave.
Half-Day Leave:
A student may apply for half day leave in case of extreme necessity. For half-day leave, approval of all subject teachers of the remaining periods and class teacher is required. Not to mention, Habitual students will not be granted half-day leave.
